For
a Relaxing or Active Holiday come to the Lleyn Peninsula,
North Wales.
We have beautiful countryside, wide-open spaces, breathtaking
scenery, sandy coves and beaches, all within an hour’s drive of Snowdon, the highest
mountain in England and Wales.
There
are attractions galore:
Steam Railways at Porthmadog, (Festiniog Railway), at Caernarfon,
(the Welsh Highland Railway), and at Llanberis (The Quarry Line and Snowdon Railway,
the only rack and pinion steam railway in Britain).

We have fabulous Castles at Caernarfon, Cricieth and Harlech.
Just outside Porthmadog is the Italianate Village of Portmeirion,
where the cult series Prisoner series was filmed.
The energetic may climb to the summit of Snowdon, where
you can view England and Ireland on a clear day, sail from
Abersoch and Pwllheli Marina,
surf on Hell’s Mouth beach,
climb iron age
hill forts or enjoy a leisurely stroll through
woodlands, country lanes and coastal paths.

Whether you’re interested in walking, cycling, pony-trekking,
sailing, water-skiing, sail boarding, surfing, canoeing,
swimming, fishing (sea, river or coarse), quad biking, go-karting,
10 pin bowling, clay pigeon shooting and much more – all
are available on Lleyn.
At Llanbedrog, Oriel Glyn y Weddw
Art Gallery is open all year, and Plas yn Rhiw, a National
Trust historic house
and garden is open for most of the year as are the National

And this is just a taste of what's on offer. There is so much more to see and do that we could fill page after page with information. But the best way to discover the delights of Lleyn is to visit the area and explore at your own pace.
